Capturing the spirt of the Canadian Pacific Northwest this unique 12.5” x 3” Red Cedar bowl is both utilitarian and a classic display of Cedars amazing grain.
The wood for this project was locally sourced in Hope BC and features some very attractive wood grain not to mention a wonderful smell.
Most bowls produced by Whiskeyjack are made using the “Once-Turned” method so the bowl will slowly change shape over time making it truly unique. Any small fissures or cracks in this piece have been restored and the piece finished in Tung oil or other food safe finishes. Any large fissures or cracks have been restored using epoxy.
