This handmade 10.5” D x 4.5” H bowl has it all, spalting, extreme grain figure, chatoyance and black epoxy inlays. A truly unique wood piece worthy of any collection and daily duty.
This bowl was turned from wild, Maple harvested from our own property just east of Hope BC and features some very attractive wood grain.
Most bowls produced by Whiskeyjack are made using the “Once-Turned” method so the bowl will slowly change shape over time making it truly unique. Any small fissures or cracks in this piece have been restored and the piece finished in Tung oil or other food safe finishes. Any large fissures or cracks have been restored using epoxy.
