Made from hand selected Broadleaf Maple from our own property just east of Hope, BC this bowl is unique in its design and material and finished with multiple coats of Tung oil and finally 1 coat of a lacquer as a sealer.
This bowl was turned from wild, Broadleaf Maple harvested from our own property just east of Hope BC and features some very attractive wood grain.
Most bowls produced by Whiskeyjack are made using the “Once-Turned” method so the bowl will slowly change shape over time making it truly unique. Any small fissures or cracks in this piece have been restored and the piece finished in Tung oil or other food safe finishes. Any large fissures or cracks have been restored using epoxy.
